Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23/08/2026
At WhatsApp Plus we treat privacy as something practical, not as a formality. This policy explains in plain language what data we collect, what we use it for, who it is shared with and what you can do about it. Last reviewed: August 2026.
Who is responsible
The data controller is the editorial team behind WhatsApp Plus, which publishes and maintains this informational website. You can contact us at any time through the contact page to exercise the rights described below.
What information we collect
You do not need to register or provide any personal data to download files or read the guides. There are no user accounts, we never ask for your phone number and we do not store your contact list.
The information that may be collected is:
- Anonymous browsing data. Pages visited, time spent, browser language, device type and approximate country. This tells us which guides get read and which ones need work.
- IP address. Web servers log the requests they receive, including the originating IP. It is used for security and to calculate aggregate statistics.
- Data you send us. If you use the contact form we receive the name, email and message you write, and nothing more.
What we use it for
Browsing information lets us measure traffic and spot errors; the form data lets us answer your question. We do not build personal profiles, we do not sell data to third parties and we do not send marketing emails.
Legal basis
Processing relies on your consent when you accept cookies or write to us voluntarily, and on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies in your browser.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages are kept for as long as the conversation lasts and up to a year afterwards, in case you need to pick it up again. Aggregate browsing statistics cannot identify you and are kept indefinitely. Server logs are rotated periodically.
Advertising and third parties
This site may display advertising from networks such as Google AdSense. Those networks use their own cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other sites. Google uses the DoubleClick cookie for that purpose, and you can turn off personalised advertising in your Google account ad settings.
The files we link to may be hosted on external services such as MediaFire, Google Drive or Mega. When you press the download button and the file sits on one of those services, you leave our site and become subject to that provider's privacy policy. We neither control nor answer for what those services collect.
International transfers
Analytics, advertising and file-hosting providers may be located outside your country of residence, including the United States. By using the site you accept that possibility.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone that age. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.
Security
We apply reasonable measures to protect information: encrypted HTTPS connections, restricted access to the admin panel and review of the files we publish. Even so, no internet-connected system is invulnerable, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
You may request access to any data we hold about you, its correction or deletion, and you may object to processing or ask us to restrict it. Write to us from the contact page stating which right you wish to exercise; we reply within 30 days at most. If you feel we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the review date shown at the top. We suggest checking it occasionally, especially if you return to the site after a long time.
